Discover our passion for the world’s finest beer

We are passionate to deliver fresh craft beer in our signature Growlers which retain the original taste of the beer as if it came straight from the brewery.

Beer enthusiasts knows Growlers; when beer is poured from our new growler systems, it will enable you enjoy fresh-from-the-brewery tasting beer until your last sip.

During a standard filling process, beer loses its integrity and longevity due to exposure to oxygen and carbonation. Ultimately, the taste of the beer is also impacted negatively. Standard old-fashioned filling allows unwanted oxygenation and reduces CO2 saturation, which changes the taste and quality of the beer. The result is the beer lasts only for 1-3 days.

BEER BARREL uses same system for filling growlers as most breweries use for filling their kegs. During this process, the beer doesn’t undergo change in terms of taste nor carbonation. This is why our growlers lasts for weeks versus days and tastes the same as if it came straight from the brewery. This can only be achieved by using a special counter pressure system, which was designed in Siberia, Russia.

BEER BARREL is a local specialist and official distributor of the Pegas draft beer dispensing equipment in Australia. Pegas filling equipment uses CO2 to pour reusable glass bottles with craft beer. In instances where you may not have your growler with you, it may be more convenient to buy beer in recyclable plastic bottles, which are cost-effective and unbreakable.

Pegas filling equipment purges oxygen out by using CO2 to ensure that the beer is never exposed to oxygen while filling. By equalizing pressure between the keg and the growler, we have a fast, absolutely-without-foam, drops-or-spills, growler fill.
